AS bigchesse forgot to mention this hotel has it own monorail station that is on the upper level and as his friend says about how this hotel represent hawai'i is much better then the hotels on the real island he is right to a certain point. Have you ever wished you were on some distant Pacific island away from it all, but with all of the comforts of home. Well this is perhaps better. One of my best friends grew up in Hawaii and said that it was a better representation than most of the hotels on the island. Tiki torches light the walk ways at night as you walk from hut to hut. A wonderful bar upstairs overlooking the pool area, and one pool side overlooking the pool and lagoon. The pool has a great slide for the kids at heart to swoop down along the side of a volcano. While the relaxing waterfalls provide a great area for the adults to just sit and relax. Plus plenty of general open swimming area with warm water year round. There is also a second quiet pool a building or two away from the main pool. Always seems more of the adult relax area as kids will definitely want to swim in the main pool. When you first enter the Polynesian lobby you will feel as though you are in a tropical rainforest, including a gorgeous two story waterfall set with great tropical plants. Two of my favorite restaurants upstairs and plenty of places to just sit and relax.
