My wife and I just spent our 30th wedding anniversary at WDW and stayed at Port Orleans-French Quarter. We loved it! The walking path that connects it to Port Orleans-Riverside was outstanding; a nice quiet getaway from the hustle bustle of the parks. We will come back!!
Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter is a very nice resort to stay at. I absouletly loved my stay there. The Port Orleans French Quarter is fairly away from popular parks like Epcot and Magic Kingdom. But the closest parks to it are Downtown-Disney and Blizzard Beach. There are two ways to get to Downtown-Disney. The coolest way tp get there is by a boat! The boat dock is a few yards away from the resort's luxorious pool. The boat's last trips are at 11:00 PM Eastern Time. It goes very slow like Magic Kingdom's Famous Jungle Cruise.
