Pirates of the Caribbean

Recently updated to include Jack Sparo, Barbosa, and a few of the characters from the movie franchise, this ride is a long time classic and great for all ages. Riders start out walking thru cold dark caves of a castle fort while standing in line. This is great because you have a great place to cool off and the kids will be entertained by the several different scenes. Like treasure chests, cannons, skeletons and more. Then you will be seated in a boat similar to small world or other boat rides around the park and venture into the pirate world. There is one drop about 20 feet or so, while I grab tight to the hand bar it is still safe for small kids. After that it is a smooth ride thru several classic scenes with a few familiar faces from the movies, which look extremely life like in their movments. You will be surrounded by cannon fire, music, and a generaly good time. Since this ride and line is indoors, I recomend this as the perfect ride for the middle of the day when you need an escape from the heat.
